Our Force Communications Suite
On an average day, we receive approximately 150-250 emergency calls and 800 non-emergency calls. We may transfer calls directly to the Officer dealing with your enquiry or the relevant department, take a message for the Officer if they're not currently on duty, provide advice and guidance or signpost the caller you or to another agency.
There are other ways you can find out information about Gwent Police:
- Our Officers will provide you with their contact details so you can contact them directly about your incident - by phone or by email
- If you contact us, we use an Intelligent Voice Recognition system for our non-emergency lines for you to be able to direct your own call
See for yourself...
Don't take our word for it though - come and take part in our ride along scheme and find out more about what we're doing here in Gwent!
We constantly look for ways to improve accessibility. For those of you who have problems communicating by Voice, we offer an SMS texting service for non-emergencies. Registering for this service is easy, simply email us at firstname.lastname@example.org providing your name, address and mobile telephone number.
