Following recent reports of anti-social behaviour in the Ystrad Mynach area, there will be a 48 hour Dispersal Order (Under Section 35 of the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014) in place this weekend.
The designated area of the order will include: A472, Caerphilly Road, Cedar Way, Pine Grove, Trinity Close, Pen-y-Cae, Heol Brynteg, Trinity Fields School, Ystrad Mynach Park, Ystrad Mynach bowls club, Ystrad Mynach Tennis courts, Commercial street, Central Street, Church Street, Lisburn Road, Bedwlwyn Road, Siloh Square, Oakfield Street, High Street, Pengam Road, Penalta Road, Beech Embankment, The Walk, Dilwyn Avenue, The Avenue, Pantycelyn Street, Ystrad Mynach Railway Station and all public spaced and thoroughfares contained within the boundary.
The order starts at 5pm on Friday 22nd December and will be in place for 48 hours.
Officers will be patrolling the area and will have the authority to direct anyone behaving anti-socially away from the area. If they return to that area after being moved on, they face being arrested.
